PAWEŁ FERT – the founder and the CEO of 2PM. A recognized expert
with twenty years of experience in project management and technical consulting.
The investment process has no secrets for Paweł. He got to know the aspects related to the construction works – from preparation, through implementation, to final settlement – at the beginning of his career, working in the Mitex contractor company (which later changed its name to Eiffage). He developed his project management competences at EC Harris (now Arcadis), where he actively participated in the creation of such complex construction projects as Mamaison Diana Passage, Logistic City, Wola Park. He significantly contributed to the development of loan monitoring services for financing institutions by creating procedures and standards for monitoring construction projects as part of the company’s operations.
In 2007, Paweł became the head of Savant, where he proved himself not only in project management, but above all in team management and managing the company’s operations. Within 2 years, he has developed a team of 5 people working on 2 projects, up to 35 people and 20 parallel investments. The larger ones include the Park Postępu office complex in Warsaw, the Hilton Hotel in Wrocław and the Wilanow One residential estate. His efforts to develop the business were appreciated in 2009, when Savant was included in the structures of the international engineering giant – AECOM, and Paweł was appointed Country Manager responsible for building and developing the brand in Poland. The scope of AECOM’s business (including Faber Maunsell company in Poland) significantly exceeded commercial real estate, thanks to which Paweł gained new competences in the area of infrastructure investments, mainly in the transport and environmental sectors. He participated in the implementation of such flagship projects of the company as: the construction of the A2 and A4 highways, the S17 motorway, the Poznań airport, and a waste neutralization plant.
In 2012, already having a lot of experience in working with international companies and knowledge of the Polish construction market, Paweł decided to start his own consulting and engineering business under the name 2PM. He has gathered around him a dynamic team of over twenty engineers, along with whom he has been implementing his passion for investment management and supporting clients with comprehensive technical knowledge. The list of investments in which the 2PM team participated includes many well-known facilities such as the Elektrownia Powiśle, Praga 306, the EQlibrium office building, the Ethos building at Plac Trzech Krzyży in Warsaw, the building of Count Raczyński (Plac Małachowskiego) and Mazowiecka, the Mozaika Mokotów and sPlace housing estates in Warsaw.
Paweł is a promoter of the idea of innovation and implementation of new technologies in the construction industry. Many years of working on various projects and searching for the perfect solution to improve the effectiveness of cooperation led him to create own IT software called the EDM (Effective Data Management). He successfully implemented this solution in projects conducted by his company, and recently he has entered the market with a commercial licensing offer for this software.
Paweł graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Banking at the University of Economics in Krakow and in the field of building structures at the Kielce University of Technology; he has unlimited building design license and he is a member of the Polish Chamber of Civil Engineers.
